Question
I am traveling to Curacao and Aruba late March - early April. My passport expires the end of April but will be valid while I'm there. I've heard some countries require your passport to be valid for a few months after your trip but can't find anywhere where Aruba requires this. Can you confirm that it won't be a problem?

Answer
Hi Erin...Apply for your renewal passport now! Even though the passport is still valid for a month, there are some cases where travel was denied, and entry to another country was also denied due to a close expiring date.
From what I have heard, it needs to be valid for a minimum of 6 months for international travel to most countries.
If something were to happen to you, or travel arrangements are delayed, an expired passport will cause huge problems on your return trip.
Best to be safe! It's not worth the risk!
