Question
Hi Andy, I'm back with another question.  Do I need to make dinner reservations way in advance even prior to arriving in Aruba or can I make them upon arrival?  I have been reading many reviews on various restaurants and that making reservations way in advance is recommended.  Right now the restaurants on my list are: Carte Blanche, Salt&Pepper, Madame Janette, Matthews, Barefoot, Lindas Pancake House, Yemanja, Chefs Tables.  As I mentioned in my last correspondence, we are staying Friday to Friday, and figure having reservations on Sat thru Wed leaving a few days open......thanks again.

Answer
Hello Gina!  Around this time, the island starts to slow down a bit, and not too many people are there like in the winter months. The only reservation you should make, due to its popularity would be Madame J's. All the others you listed should be a short wait, if any at all.
I would also recommend you make that reservation a few weeks prior to your arrival.
When you do dine anywhere, remember the phrase "Aruba Time". Most people get upset about "slow" service, but it is just the way things are done by the Arubans...they take things slow, and not fast paced like here in the states!
