Aruba/Retirement in Aruba

Question
I heard that you can stay in Aruba for three months. I also heard that this can be extended another three months by going to the immigration people. Is this still a fact?

Answer
Yes..just make sure you go to Immigration upon your arrival to file the papers. They will just need information on your status of origin, and where you will be staying while in Aruba.
Do not delay in doing this, as it may cause you a problem if/when you ask for the extension.
