Question
I will be vacationing in Aruba and I want to know if it will be a problem bringing one of my medications. I have a bad back and the doctor has prescribed hydrocodone(vicodin)for me. Is it okay to bring it with me as long as I have it in the original bottle from my pharmacy?

Answer
Hi Dan!  I have a bad back and take the same. It's not so much Aruba laws, but the TSA at the airports. Any prescription drug will have no problem going thru TSA and into Aruba as long as it is in the original container.
However, make sure you bring enough for the duration of your visit, as you can not get any refills on the island unless it is prescribed by a local physician.
