Aruba/ATV in aruba???

Question
I am travelling to Aruba and staying in the Bucuti Hotel from January 3rd 2008. This is part of my honeymoon and is the first time me and my wife to be have ventured further afield than the Mediterranean, which we usually travel to. In the Greek Islands which we have travelled to many times and to many different places there is always a plentiful supply of ATV hiring companies, and we have found this to be both a fun and cost effective way to get around. So my question is, is there a company in Aruba that hire ATV's to the tourists as a way of getting around, and if so, what restriction (licenses) or costs (insurance, Rental) are implied to such hiring of these ATV's.?

Answer
Hi Chris! There are plenty of tour operators there that have ATV rentals and guided tours of the Island. I can not think of all the names, but DePalm tours is one. As you exit the airport, you will be handed flyers, and there are at least 6 companies that offer ATV rentals. Also, in all hotel lobbies, there are activities kiosks that also list basically whatever you want to do/need to know. Bucuti is a nice, quiet property and a good choice. ATV rentals just require a standard drivers license. However, when touring the rough parts of the island, use caution, as there have been quite a few reports of injuries, especially about riders not famuiliar on how to use the equipment. I would also check www.aruba.com and www.aruba4u.com and www.visitaruba.com  and look further for operators of tours and more specific information.
