QuestionMy husband and i will be comming to aruba in late may. We have reservations at the Bushiri resort, I have hear good things and also bad. All i need is a good clean place to sleep and food that is edible, on a beautiful beach. We are both divers too! Do you know any thing that could help me feel better? Also do you know where i can get a brochure of aruba?
thanks,
sandi
AnswerHi Sandi! The Bushiri is away from the area of the other hotels, basically "alone" and away from all activity. Its clean, has a good beach. They use this hotel as a "training" center for hotel employees. The staff is friendly and courteous, and for basics, i dont think you will be dissapointed. It is , however away from the activities. You are somewhat closer to the downtown area rather then in the resort area, so if you want to go to a casina, The Crystal Casino at the Seaport mall is the closest. In this instance, it would be preferable if you rented a car, to get around, unless you do not plan on going downtown often. Cab fares are fairly inexpensive. Diving...all hotels have an activities desk, and tour operaters have dive packages. Look to see what De Palm tours and/or Red Sail Sports has to offer. Equipment is available for rental. For more info..go to www.aruba.com or www.aruba4u.com and i think you will find lots of info. If there is anything else in particular you may need to know, please do not hesitate to call on me again. Enjoy your trip!!!
