QuestionHello!
I am from Romania and I would really need your advice on anything related to Aruba. My boyfriend and I decided to go in Aruba from 30.12 to 08.01.05. We first stop in Miami for 5 days (from Dec 25 to Dec 30) for visiting the city and the neighbourhood... My main interest is in Aruba. We chose Bucuti hotel which I understand is very romantic and nice. What else can you tell me about Aruba and its beauties? Whhich are the things that must be seen and done. We go there alone.. do you think we will get bored? Which are the best cruises (one day cruise) that we might take? Which are the best beaches we should go to? We like crystal, turqouise water with white sand beaches. Which are the best places to eat? We like fish and sea food, light food, nothing heavy and greasy... Anything interesting to shop? Are there special things which should be bought from here? As you can see, I have lots of questions to which I dare to ask for your aproffesional advice. Thank you in advance and looking forward to your reply.

AnswerHi Luliana! Bucuti is a nice, quiet hotel..and it is on one of the best beaches in Aruba. Yes, the waters are turquoise and crystal clear. ( one of the reasons I have visited there over 20 times already!) If you take a cruise, you will be limited to the downtown area, and will not see much. Seaport Mall and Seaport Village in the downtown area for your shopping. Every type of store you can think of. Taks the not so expensive Island tours to really see the beauty and history of the island! FOOD!! Plenty of resturants to choose from. Seafood, Island flare, Itaalian, German, Argentine...just about anything you may want. I can suggest some websites for you which you will get lots of information. Try www.aruba4u.com and www.visitaruba.com there , you will find a lot of answers and general info. After wandering thru these sights and links...feel free to get back to me with any questions of a particular nature you may have. I can go on and on here, only to run out of room!
PS: I arrive on the Island 2 weeks after you leave! Too bad the timing was wrong..we could have met for a coffee and have a lot to discuss! Please get back to me with anything you may need to find out..I am always here!!!
