Question
Hi Andy,
I am thinking about taking my two kids(3 and 15) to Aruba next year and wanted to know what the best time to go during the year would be. Cost is the most important issue for me then with my kids being so far apart in age I need something that will interest both. I am also looking for something all-inclusive/ or would that NOT be a good idea?

Answer
Hi Nicole! First, all inclusive is very expensive, per person , especially when it comes to kids. Fot the hundreds of dollars extra you will pay, you are much better off eating as you go along. There are plenty of places to have food, depending on where you are staying!  Time wise...August is the best..I always go the last 2 weeks  in August, as the island is quiet, no lines for food, beach space wide open, etc. Weather is also great at that time too. A good deal to stay would be where my timeshare is...go to  www.arubabeachclub.net and check them out. It is less hectic than the "highrise" sections. Very safe, good security. So many places good and not so good there. I will help you with choices and info as you need it. Just contact me again, or we can set up e-mails so I can "walk " you thru your choices! travel agants can send you to undesireable places, as they really dont care. It's your vacation...you should enjoy it!!  I will help in any way I can!
