Question
Hi,
I will be visiting Aruba next month. Venezuela is so close. . . . Can you advise of the best/least expensive way to get to Venezuela from Aruba?

Thanks.

Answer
Hi Suzanne! The best way would be by air.  A few small comuter airlines have service to Caracas and Maracaibo. I would go to the counters of the airlines when arriving in Aruba, (go to your right when leaving the arrivals building) and check with them for schedules and flights. I just did a quick check for you...Santa Barbara Airlines has a flight to Maracaibo leaving at 11:30 AM. At this time, I do not see anything going to Caracas, but I am sure there is something. I do know you can hire a boat to go there, but the price would be at least 4 times more then a flight!  There seems to be a few flights to Curacao, which I know is another popular place to go when tourists visit Aruba. Just thought I would mention that!  If there is anything else I can help you with, please do not hesitate to call on me again!!
