Do you know any famous people from aruba.  My son in doing a project and needs 2 names!

Hi Monica! Aruba being a small island, there are not many famous individuals! However, Sidney Ponson, is a major league baseball player ( pitcher). He played for Baltimore, was with the Yankees for a while last year, and I am pretty sure he is with the Minnesota Twins right now. He resides in Noord, Aruba during the off season. Otherwise, I can not think of anybody else from Aruba that has made any substantial impacts , as Arubans generally stay on thier island, or go to school or stay with family in the Netherlands.
