Aruba/A gift for a good deed

Question
On an ATV trip around the island, my husband and I were seperated from our 2 children, one of whom had just been in an accident.  A lovely couple with two small children stopped to help us.  I would like to send them a gift of appreciation...something that either they would not afford themselves, or that is unusual, or not easily obtainable in Aruba. Any suggestions?

Answer
Hi Laura!I have a friend that appreciates instant coffee (due to the prices), but a good family gift that they would like would be linens, such as bath towels and face cloths. Even though theyare available on the Island, they are a bit pricey as the import taxes are high. Even a few bars of an American brand of soap put in will bring a smile to them, as they are used to products from the Netherlands, and U.S. products are not common and still high in price. Plus, these lightweight items will not be too expensive to ship either. If there is anything else I can help you with in this, or any other matter, please do not hesitate to call on me again!
