Question how is the holiday inn to stay at? food? accomadations?
Answer Hi Kurt,
My wife Maureen & I always stay at non-inclusive places. We prefer to visit the wonderful restaurants Aruba has to offer.
However I am not saying that the inclusive plans are not good, just that Maureen & I prefer not to stay at them.
As far as where to stay, we have stayed at The Holiday Inn, The Wyndham, The Coconut Inn, The Marriott & The Costa Linda.
We stayed at The Holiday Inn in 1995. We had an oceanfront room with a balcony. The rooms were a nice size and have been redecorated since 95. The Miramar Restaurant was great. Good food and good service at good prices. Overall we would stay at The Holiday Inn again, if our other favorites were not available. I would rate The Holiday Inn 4 stars out of 5.
The Wyndham is very cozy. Maureen & I stayed there in October 98. From what I remember the room was a nice size and since then they have been redecorated. Our favorite restaurant at The Wyndham is Cafe Baci. Very good Italian food and great service. Christina was the person in charge of Guest Services and she made our stay at The Wyndham very memorable. Every question we had, she could answer and every request we had, she filled. The trip package we purchased at The Wyndham included the breakfast buffet every morning. I would rate The Wyndham 4 1/2 stars out of 5.

The Marriott is great. Just last year my wife Maureen & I stayed at The Marriott and they really know how to make you feel welcome. The rooms are large and decorated nicely. The restaurants are great, we make sure to eat at Tuscany's every year we are there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would rate The Marriott 5 stars out of 5.
