My daughter is getting married in June 2005 and i would like to surprise them at Christmas with a trip to Aruba which they have are trying to plan out for their honeymoon.  They have decided on 4 choices of hotels ~ the Marriot Resort & Stellaris Casino, Radisson Aruba Resort, Hyatt Regency, or the Renaissance Aruba Beach Resort.  They would like a spacious room with an Ocean view ~ whether it's a honeymoon suite or executive room.  They want nightlife ~ dancing ~, snorkling, spa, gym, golf, and of course a great beach.  I came across your website and thought i'd get an opinion from someone that may know the best answer.  I have also printed for them your list of resturants and a few other pointers you have passed along to others.  But after reading info and site searching each accomodation they are more confused than ever.  It was so much easier when my husband and i visited Aruba last year on our cruise and didn't have to worry about accomodations but did our site seeing and the unforgetable Kukoo Kunuku bus ride which i can't wait to go back and do again!! ....

Please help them decide which accomodation would be their best choice.

Hi Jane..I would pick the Marriott Renaissance for the following reasons. They do have ocean view rooms, they have a private island witch for an extra cost, you can get honeymoon packages. Spas and excersise rooms on premises. Basically, everything you listed they have, except for golf, which out of all the hotels you mentioned, you would have to take a cab, or drive there anyway! Situated downtown, (as you know where it is from your cruise) there are many resturants to go to , and shopping. I stay at this facility myself for 3 days before I transfer to my timeshare. I just think that everything is there for you at this downtown location, as the other hotels just offer a few of the items mentioned. May as well get the most for the dollar!
