Question
Hello I had e-mailed you last week about staying at theDivi or the Tam.  We have decided on the Tam.  I hope we made the right choice.  I was hoping you could give us some advice on what and what not to do.  We have always wanted to go to Aruba so we want to make sure we see all that we can see but still relax and have a good time.  We like to gamble a bit. How are the casinos their?  Thanks for all your help.   Rachel

Answer
Hello again!!  Gambling...The Alhambra Casino is a 6 minute walk from the Tam. Also, being owned by the same company, they have a shuttle servive from the Tam and Divi to the casino. It is a very relaxed atmosphere there, and I find it one of the three i usually frequent. At every hotel there, there is an activities desk/kiosk. Since you are a first timer, you should look into going on the Island tour. Lasting about 3 to 4 hours, you will see the other side of Aruba. Gold mine ruins, caves, rock formations, natural bridges, etc. There are many tour operators, and they will usually pick you up right at the hotel. The desk can give you all information regarding tours, snorkle trips and other activities that are popular. Since the sun rises at 630 am and sets about 7 pm, you will have plenty of time at the beach! I am sure you will love the whole experience!!
