can you tell me some good reasturants near the wyndham that we could walk to ..we plan on rebting a car but still like to walk at night..thamk you lori

Hi Lori!  The Wyndham is really not located too close to any resturants, with the closest one being Tony Roma's. What I can suggest is that is is walking distance to the Aruba Phoenix, The Aruba Grand, The Raddisson and the Allegro. These hotels are pretty much grouped together, and each hotel offers fine resturants on premises. Most stand alone resturants are located north of the Wyndham, near the Hyatt and Marriott hotels, and some are a good mile or more walk from your place of stay. However, if you decide on a Journey, I find The Palms, at the Hyatt my best choice.  If you go downtown, my favorite is El Gaucho for a good churasco (Argentine) steak. That may be worth the trip by cab, or if you have a rental car. Try browsing www.aruba4u.com and/or www.arubabound.com and search the maps, hotel locations and resturants.
