Question
Good day Mr Andy, have you ever taken a look at that website called "www.wannasurf.com"?Try it out it might help you to give a bit more info on aruba's 250 days of surfing every year.Surfing in aruba is just fine.

Answer
Thanks!!  I did a quick browse and it seems informative. Surfing to me is in the traditional sense as in the south pacific and west coast. The waves have a much longer duration. As I noticed..some hazards in Aruba are "rocks and sharks!" Something to consider! On the map they listed a few spots for surfing as Baby Beach. This is a calm water area due to them having breakwaters off the coast. It's like a pond. The eastern side has waves...but they only get to the published heights when there is a weather system near the area. Guess it all depends on desire, and fun vs. serious. Did you move there yet???  When are you going??  Either way..good luck to ya!!
