Question
Why is one of Singapore's attraction Tang dynasty a failure?

Answer
Dear Chia,

I believe that there are a few reasons that caused the Tang Dynasty Village to cease operation ultimately in 1999. The high admission cost deterred many locals from making repeated visits to the village. Secondly, many people who visited the village find it an extremely unpleasant experience as it can get extremely hot and humid in the day. The village was structured in a park concept. This meant that there wasn't air conditioning in the park except in the restaurants. All these reasons probably contributed the failure of the theme park to attract visitors. The management lost money over the years and the village had to be shut down eventually.

I hope that helps.

Regards,
Jen
