Question
When was the east-India company established in the sub-
continent? At which year?
can u give all the names of the invaders that ruled in the
sub-continent and from when till when?

Answer
Dear Ferhawn,

East India Company was founded in 1600. Emperor Jahangir granted it permission for a trading post in Surat in 1612. In 1757, after the Battle of Plassey, Nawab Sirajuddaula surrendered his dominion to them and gave them the right to collect revenue.

Many people came to India and carved out their kingdoms. But other than muslims and christians, all of them accepted hinduism and never went back. The list includes Dravidians, Aryans, Persians, Greek, Scythians, Kushans and Huns. Muslims also accepted India as their home. One cannot call Sher Shah or Akbar as foreigners. They were as much Indian as any Indian muslim today.

Rather than creating a list of people and giving dates, the easier thing is to give you this link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_history) in which you can check the whole sequence. With best regards,

Yours sincerely,
