Expert: Kunal Shinde - 4/20/2007

Question
I am Nazir from Kerala, India.I want to know that how the price of a share is changing when day trading, or who gives the higer prices and lower prices

Answer
HI Nazir

Share market is also work on same principles like other market. Its demand and supply situation fluctuate the market. If buyers are more and sellers are less then stock price will start moving upward and vice versa. Buyers are common investors like you and me, traders, institutions, foreign players, Mutual Fund companies etc. You can only get shares if there is agreed seller to sell at same price. Then only trade can be completed. You can visit BSE and NSE sites and can find out number of buyers and sellers in any share at any particular time when market is open. I hope I have answered your question. If you need further details you write again.

Thanks - Kunal
