Question
Hello, thank you for taking this question. I am an American trying to purchase several Asian stocks. They are only listed on their own countries stock exchanges. American Deposit Receipts also do not list them. My broker tells me he can't get them for me unless I buy in amounts of $20,000 American dollars per company. Too much! I say. How can I buy those stocks without the high minimums.

Answer
Dear Larry,

I fail to undestand why your broker is mentioning about $20,000/- per company. It is big amount per company. I can only comment about Indian Stock Exchanges. There are two main exchanges in India, National Stock Exchange (NSE) & Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), their respective site are www.nseindia.com & www.bseindia.com. I will request you to go through these site for finding required information. Also you can check www.icicidirect.com which part ICICI Bank largest private sector bank of India to find out more information.

If you have any further query pls write back.
