Question
Hi,
My dog is constantly itching and biting herself.  She bites her feet and her tail and her body.  She is on a good food Canidae and I give her missing link.  She doesnt have fleas,  Is there something the vet could give her for this horrible scratching and biting

Thanks
JEn

Answer
Dogs that lick their feet and are very itchy often have allergies to environmental allergens.  YOUr vet can help relieve the itching with steroids and they can get allergy shots for you.  That way the dog will prevent the allergies from flaring up in years to come.
