I have 1 1/2 old female chihuahua name Chella. she got mites and has a her liver is not working. any advise on how to treat this. My doctor dont believe in anything but science diet Ld she hates it and her immune system wont fight the mites???any advise

The mites can be treated with a solution of Amitraz dip.  Do this once a week for 8 weeks all over the dog's body.  A new topical flea treatment called PROMERIS can help do this, too.  As far as he liver disease, there are many things to do depending on what type of liver disease is present.
