Question
Stormy is a male miniature collie and sheltie mix. His one eye has had from what my Vet has told me Stormy's third eyelid has pulled away from the under part of his eye. It is now happening 5 years later to the other eye. Where can I find a doctor to help me with this? or what is this and is it common?

Answer
Judy -

The third eyelid is also known as the nictitanic membrane. It has many properties, helping in tear production is one of them.

Locating a  vet that can repair third eyelid prolapse is not difficult, check Internet or telephone listings to find a doctor that can help.
