Question
My chocolate labrador's hair colour is begining to change in patches to a different and lighter shade of brown and I am wondering what is the cause and what should I do. Even his tail has patches of discoloration.

Answer
That is not uncommon in Chocolate Labs.  Sometimes it is from parasites, allergic skin disease, or from not enough essential fatty acids in the skin.  YOu can get some coat conditioner supplement from your vet and if the dog has skin problems, that needs treatment.
