Question
My Dalmatian Mickey has a swollen left ear. There is a slight odor from it also. Can you tell me if there is anything I can do for her?

Answer
IF the ear flap is swollen and soft, like a marshmallow, then it requires surgery to correct. This is most likely an aural hematoma.  There may be an ear infection causing the odir.  That needs treatment also.  Check with your vet to see what needs to be done.
