Question
My cat had a litter of 4 kittens yesterday and one of them was born with it's eyes open. it's eyes are all black and almost beetle like, can my kitten be blind?

Answer
It is unusual for a kitten to be born with the eyes opoen.  The cornea may not develop properly and so it may be blind.  I would advise you to get some artificial tears and keep the eyes moist so they won't dry out. You maay need to do this 4-5 times a day for 3-4 weeks.
