Question my dog eye is red and the inside of it is swelling to the point it is starting to cover some of his pupil
Answer It sounds like your dog has a 'cherry eye' which is where the third eyelid prolapses and inverts itself.
This is a medical condition that needs a vet to treat it.
He needs to be seen by a vet as soon as possible but it is not an emergency unless he has something in his eye like a sticker or weed piece.
