Ask the Veterinarian/dog is not eating

Question
My dog had exploratory surgery yesterday to see if he had anything in his intestines, after vomiting all night Friday. They found nothing. Still waiting for the results of the biopsy. We brought him home and he is very lethargic. He does not move or eat. We are trying to feed him boiled chicken, but have been unsuccesful. WHat is a way that we can get him to eat or drink water?

What does your veterinarian recommend?  Contact them as soon as possible and follow the instructions exactly.  The  person that performed the surgery is most familiar with your dog and can tell you exactly what he/she wants your dog to have post surgery.

I will not make any recommendations as I would like you to contact the surgeon as soon as possible.
