Question
I noticed yesterday that my lab's tail was down.   It is out approx 1-1.5 inches and then straight down.   No loss of appetite, defacates/urinates normal.   Kind of tender to the touch even tho she seems to act norma except for her tail.   What's up?????  What should I look for?

Answer
Jill -

Is it possible that the tail was caught in the door?  There are several reasons that may cause your dog's tail not to curl up. Consult your veterinarian to determine what tests may be necessary.
