Question
my dog just gave birth last july 5, when is the time she will ovulate again? can we breed her when she ovulate?

Answer
Ivan -

You should not breed your dog more than once yearly.
Breeding an animal in back to back estrus cycles can cause the female to become very weak since her body is drained of its nutrients from nursing her young.  Your female's body will need time to recover between pregnancies.  Feed her a healthy diet of puppy food while she is pregnant and nursing.

Dogs ovulate twice yearly; the average time between cycles is seven months.
