Question
This is a follow up to my e mail of last evening regarding my cat Ziggy.  The antibiotic the vet switched him to is Zeniquin, I said Metacam, but that was for the fever.  Could the antibiotic Zeniquin make him feel bad?  Thank you very much!!!

Answer
Teresa -

Perhaps the antibiotic is causing him to feel bad, but with all due respect, you should consult your veterinarian.  He/she needs to know that Ziggy is not feeling well.  The longer your pet is not feeling well, the greater the potential that he is becoming sicker.  Cats can go downhil very rapidly.
