Question
ater a year with a flea collar on and going in heat my cat started licking ,cleaning and bitting to the point of excessive hair loss, with two other cats (neutered) and with collars on I noticed flea droppings so i figured they were'nt helping in the meantime she had been acting skittish so i but frontier on all of them .the neutered ones are fine ,have been and she still cleans ect. does'nt as much, did'nt when out of house on way to be spayed is'nt skittish anymore.what can it be, she's all white with light eyes and very pink skin

Answer
Susan -

Flea collars usually do not work and can be toxic in cats.  That could account for the constant licking.  The flea collar can severely irritate her skin causing her to chew and lick frequently.

I am not quite sure about your question; if you will please clarify your question I will be happy to try to help you.
