Question
Hi my name is melissa. my dog landed on his tail the wrong way, he is a husky 4 months old and his tail curls up.. after he landed on it he was yelping for about 1 min straight until i picked him up. Now his tail isnt curling up as usual and he yelps a lil' if we touch it. He plays with our other dog and it doesnt bother him. But i'm just worried about him. Thank You!

Answer
Melissa -

Have your dog's tail radiographed to make sure it is not broken.  If he is not showing signs of discomfort, he should be okay. Continue to observe him and if he is uncomfortable, have him examined by a veterinarian.
