I have a 5 year old min pin that has sores on his lips seem to be fairly sensitive what can I do???

Have your pet examined by a veterinarian.  There are several diseases that can manifest with the symptoms you describe. Autoimmune and fungal disease can affect the mouth.    Your veterinarian can diagnose problems and help you with treatment.
