Ask the Veterinarian/pitbull lump

Question
I have a 3 year old pit bull, he has a about a softball size lump on the side of his neck, what is up?

Answer
Victoria -

You should have your pet examined by a veterinarian.  Without the benefit of a physical exam I am unable to give you a indication of the cause of a lump on his neck.  It may be a swollen lymph node or even a bite from an insect. Have him looked at by a veterinary professional to determine what is affecting him.
