Ask the Veterinarian/sick puppy

Question
We rescued 2 puppies from the shelter last week.  They came from different shelters.  One is a 2 month old female lab/aussie mix.  She came home with a slight case of kennel cough and after talking to our vet we're watching it & they both have an appointment next Thursday for shots & to get her cough checked out again.  Yesterday she started having very runny poop and today it is liquid.  The last time she pooped it was mostly clear.  Both puppies eat the same food and the other puppy (male lab mix) is just fine.  She still plays and eats/drinks well.  Should I take her to another vet so I can get her in today or tomorrow and get her checked out?

You should have your pet checked as soon as possible.  Diarrhea in puppies and kittens can cause dehydration which can lead to serious complications in young animals.  Your vet will probably perform a fecal exam and may request bloodwork.
