Question
Hi I have been walking my pup for about 30 mins twice a day on an extended flexi lead do you think that is too much for him?I dont want to overdo it and  damage his legs and hips. Many thanks.

Thirty minutes sounds reasonable at this age, as long as he is eating a GOOD quality PUPPY growth for Large breeds. Diet is going to be your biggest issue for hips and joints.

Science Diet Large Breed Puppy Growth is the best on the market to feed. Hill's pets did a three year study to determine if diet could affect growth, joint and hip problems later in life and found out it could. They then formulated the Large breed Puppy growth, the first of its kind at the time.

So get him on the best food and watch his weight and growth rate.
