Ask the Veterinarian/Bump on dogs lower back

Question
We have a dog that is about 7 years old.About 3 or 4 months ago we noticed a small bump on her lower back close to her tail.We thought maybe it was just a scab but over the past couple months we have noticed that it has gotten larger and starting to almost take the shape of a cauliflower. It doesn't seem to bother her or anything. We also just noticed that it is bleeding just a little but wasn't sure if that was just from her sitting against our fence or from her cage.Could you tell me what this is and if we need to take her to the vet. Thanks!

It is impossible for me to be able to tell you what is wrong with your dog without a physical exam. Have your dog examined as soon as possible; he/she can tell you if the lump should be surgically removed.
