Question
Hi,

I have a pregnant cat (about 3 weeks pregnant), and I was wondering if its possible to know the number of babies she is carrying by using ultrasound?

Thanks

Ultrasound can be useful for diagnosis of pregnancy; however the number of fetuses is often miscounted with ultrasound because one can only view a section of the uterus at a time.   Radiographs are more effective for determining the number of babies in the uterus.
