Question
I have a tea cup dog at 8 pounds.  He has developed bumps and redness all over his body.  It started with just his back legs but now has progressed all over his body.  The only thing different that he has had to eat were dingo denta-treats as far as I know.  What can I do to help him.  I am worried about him and my vet is out of town and it is late tonight.

Answer
If it is an acute allergic reaction to something the dog may have eaten, then Benadryl may help.  If there is a skin allergy, then steroids are better to use. Sometimes with skin problems, there will be a bacterial infection creating the bumps.   CHeck with your vet as soon as possible.
