Ask the Veterinarian/Dog not eating, vomiting/diarrhea

Question
My dog stopped eating about two days ago, I noticed she vomits a yellowish, watery substance and has diarrhea (haven't seen the color of it). She drinks water, but not much. I've given her dog-vitamins, smashed fine dissolved in warm water, cooled it down and gave it to her in a syringe without the needle attached. I'm hoping it will make her feel better, other then that I want to ask the vet, for an "eating stimulant" in liquid form, to give her. I'm also giving her more love now then before, I felt she maybe feels depressed. Am I doing the right thing, concerning the above? Please tell me. Thanking you in advance for any (other) advice.

Answer
Peter -

Giving your dog vitamins will not make her feel better.  She is not eating because she is obviously ill.  Have her examined by your veterinarian to determine why she is not eating.  The vet may recommend blood tests and/or radiographs.  Giving her "more love",or feeding "eating stimulants" etc. will not cure your dog's illness.

Have her examined by a doctor as soon as possible on order to avoid your dog's condition getting worse.
