Have you consulted an internal medicine specialist?  That should probably next move.  Your veterinarian should be able to refer you to a veterinary internal medicine specialist that may be able to determine why your cat has a nasal discharge.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend any holistic treatments because I am not a holistic veterinarian.  Holistic medicine is a great option for you as it may be the answer to help your cat.

There is also the possibility that your cat may have allergies to his surroundings. Grass, trees, food  - all are possible  allergens that may cause a nasal discharge or other symptoms. Talk with your veterinarian about allergy testing.
