Question
I have a 13 week old female English bulldog puppy. I have had her for 3 weeks and she has been doing well with house training until 2 days ago. She is defecating every half hour to an hour, sometimes she strains and nothing comes out sometimes its regular stool and sometimes it's loose.  I take her outside and she will use the bathroom and then several minutes after we come in she goes to the bathroom in the house.  Also I just noticed this evening that her vagina is pink, but not swollen.  She has a normal appetite and energy level. Is this something that I should take her to vet for immediately? Thank you for your help.

You should have your dog examined by a veterinarian.  Frequent defecation can have a number of causes - stress, a change in diet, intestinal parasites, etc.  A visit to your veterinarian can help determine why your pup is defecating frequently.
