| Comment | I needed help with the correct doseage of ivermectin to give a dog for mange. I do not have the money to take him to the vet, but rescued him from a bad sit. I spoke to a vet from kv vet catalog on phone, she said to give a 25 lb dog .25(1/4 cc) of ivermectin to the dog under the skin and again in 14 days. the dog weighs 33 lb. I then read from a answer .com type site to give 1cc per 33 lb dog and increase the dose a little each day which I could not believe would be safe at all, but I wanted to ask you for a third oppinion which You did confirm that it wouldnt be safe, but STILL, I NEED to the answer as to what is the safe and correct doseage for this little mange dog. I have the ivermectin 1% and the syringes and know how to give shots. I need the help with out going into the vet which is going to be ab out 100.00 before I get out of there and I could just give him what I have if you could confirm what the right doseage is. Ive spent years working a dog shelter, but money is very tight now. please help Clifford dog. | ||
