My Chihuahua has been acting really weird. The morning of 3-29-09 my dog disappeared. The next day when my mom came home she came walking out of our bushes. Every since she has been moving around very slowly. She shakes every once in a while. she hasn't made one sound since she's been back. Until today when we put her down beside another dog she made a little squeal sound and that was it. I finally got her to eat and drink water. But she would not eat out of the bowl. She would only eat out of my hand. Her eyes are really red and have been that way since she has came back. What could be wrong with my baby girl?

It sounds as if your dog may have experienced trauma to the body such as being hit by a car. Have your veterinarian examine the dog; radiographs and bloodwork can be helpful in helping to determine why your pup is not feeling well.
