Question
My 10 mth old bichon is limping on her front left foot today.  I inspected it, and found what looks like a dark red sore on the top of her paw, towards her elbow area. It is smaller than a dime size and it is not bleeding, but looks really dark red.  She keeps licking it. I washed it, but she keeps licking it. she wont let me handle her front paw--she moves it away.  Please help!

Unfortunately, I am not in a position to help you. I have no way of knowing what is wrong with your dog without giving her a physical exam.  You should have your dog examined by a veterinarian. He/she can examine the leg and determine if a radiograph is needed.
