Question
How do I remove a tick from a dog that doesnt stay still
for to long. The tick is on the head. Ive tried nail polish
remover but the tick has not come out.

Try placing  mineral oil on the tick, wait about three minutes, and then pull the tick out of the dog's skin.  The head of the tick should come out when you gently pull the tick from the dog's skin.  

Consult your veterinarian about meds that will help to prevent ticks becoming imbedded in your dog's skin.  There are several - Frontline, Advantix, etc.
