Question
copd in dogs, taken Depo Medrol/pen, how dangerous is it to
be given this on a regular base? I know it can damage their
kindey or liver,I need more information on this Thanks

Answer
The problem with DepoMedrol in dogs is that once the shot has been given, there is no control on how much the dog gets and it cannot be repeated too often if it wears off too soon.  For COPD in dogs, prednisone tablets work so much better and gives good anti-inflammatory effects.  For COPD, I also use Theophylline tablets to try and open up the remaining small breathing tubes to allow more ventilation of the lungs.
