Question
I have a Doberman pinscher mix he is about 4 months i got him at the shelter two weeks ago and already had to take him to the vet and was diagnose with kennel cough he is taking antibiotics and a cough syrup, and sometimes i think he is improving but then he gets sad and doesn't want to eat, i don't know if i should take him back to the vet again or wait until next week that we were supposed to take him....

Answer
IF it is kennel cough it can take weeks for the cough to resolve.  Ifhe is still eating and drinking normally and if his attitude is OK, then wait it out.  If he is not eating well, having any nasal or eye discharge, or coughing up green material then take him in.
