Question
I have a 10 month old baby girl pitbull. She is white with black spots. She is breaking out in what looks like chicken pocks all over her. The majority of the red bumps are on her stomach and legs also along her thighs. I have read that pit bulls have very sensative skins i have taken her to the doctor numerous time about diffrent situations and they told me she has sensative skin and that most pit bulls have allergic reactions to things. I feel stupid taking her in for every little thing and hate spending so much money,  but i am honestly very worried about the red bumps all over her. Do you have any idea what these could be or if i should take her in. Some of the red bumps get little heads on them, but they almost cover her whole stomach now..I could send you a picture if you would like, please help me!!

Answer
Most likely this is a bacterial skin infection.  It is common in puppies.  You can ask your vet for a prescription of an antibiotic and give it for 2 weeks.  In addition, you can ask if the vet has a shampoo with either chlorhexidine or benzoyl peroxide to kill the bacteria on the skin.
